Forum on Intolerable Acts

In 1774, two years before America declared it's freedom, the British Parliament passed a series of laws, that the soon to be new Americans, called the Intolerable or Coercive Acts.

Nearly a decade before, the British Parliament had passed the Stamp Act.

All of these "laws" were an extremely important part in America declaring it's independence from the British government.

How does that have any bearing on todays politics in America?

Consider the "Tea Parties" that modern day Americans are orchestrating all across the country.

On April 15th there will be many organized demonstrations protesting the way our present administration is handling the American economy.

Why? Our current adminstration has approved a bill that will cause our future generations to be in debt. Other countries, such as China are buying up that debt as fast as they can.

Again, why? At some point, China (and other countries) may decide to "foreclose" on that debt. What will this do to America?

Financially it will ruin us, giving the necessary financial power to those who 'hold the debt' and to take us over.

Furthermore, when was the last time that our government has EVER been able to 'terminate employment' within the private sector? Isn't that what Obama has done with Rick Wagoner? Obama may not have "fired" Mr. Wagoner, however he did ask for his resignation, in order for GM to receive bailout funds.

Isn't that blackmail?

Let's move on. Mr. Geithner has requested and received a 'law' to tax 90 percent of "bonuses" of employees, whose companies has received bailout funds.

This has opened the door for our federal government to tax all income. What will that mean to you the American citizen? It will mean simply that your income can be taxed up to 90%. How could you live on 10% of your current income?

Most of us couldn't.

Again, how does all of this correlate to the Intolerable acts of our forefathers?

They had had enough! They declared their independence and revolted against the British government.

The Intolerable acts bred patriotism. Patriotism is a way of life. It is, at times, having the necessary fortitude to stand up to your current leaders and say, we've had enough! It is time to act!!!

What are you willing to do for your country? Are you a true Patriot?

Bowing to the King!

He has done it again! Barak Obama has bowed to the Saudia Arabia King.

An American dignitary, ESPECIALLY our President, shouldn't bow to ANYONE.

It is an act of submission of our Christian Nation, to a Muslim-Islamic State.

America submits to NO one, or NO country!
